There was absolutely no seriousness to my comment to René. I was simply saying Hello to René, which is why I used and "Just kidding". In one post I wrote, "now someone will tell me to "Play Nice". I have "snapped" at 2 people (actually more than 2) and René Very Politely reminded me not to be such a grouch. If you noticed, I said "Just Kidding You". Is thier another color calibration system that will work with my system? any way to rent it first to see if it works before buying? Its probably all a waist of time since i'm partialy color blind, but if I have the tools to do it right then I would like to at least try. The spyder works on my Dell laptop and it has the same software. Have a Dell SE198WFP monitor tried the spyder on it same error message. reload OS, PS, lightroom and works then the spyder 3 and upgraaded to 4. So thinking it was the logitech I tried to uninstall it and than run the spyder, error message. ran the spyder to calabrate my Dell U2410, and I get the error message.

Took the harddrive home loaded PS5, Lightroom3, windows works and logitech. Imaged the system, reloaded the operating system and than loaded the spyder 3 and upgraded to 4. than tried to run the spyder using there monitor, same error message. department tried to run a couple of internal fixes. I took my harddrive a Dell dimension i7 into work and the I.T. I decided to hold off reloading it untill last week (work related reason). Seams the problem may be the operating system. With the help of a POTN member tried unloading and reloading the Radeon Hd 5700 display adapter, no change. After contacting Datacolor reloading and upgrading, no fix. At the begaining of this year I posted about a "sanity check LUT failed" error message when i tried to run spyder 3.
